Tae Kwon Do Tigers

The Tae Kwon Do Tigers class is a theme-based curriculum especially designed for teaching the martial arts to children. This curriculum is designed to be fun for the children while it enriches their lives with its unique benefits. The focus of this curriculum is far less technique-based than it is method-based. At each level of the curriculum there will be new and interesting topics or themes introduced with a different subject matter and feel than the previous level before it.

We all know that children's interests can change which can lead to them wanting to drop out. This is especially true with younger students who may not understand the long term benefits of practicing Tae Kwon Do. A theme-based curriculum addresses this problem with a fun, creative approach with simple advancement requirements.

This curriculum also focuses on quality rather than quantity of technique. Having fewer requirements allows the instructor more time to focus on the quality of the techniques and frees the student from the burden of having to remember a large quantity of material. At the same time, we are setting the foundation for a strong mental development.
